A “work in progress” that began seven years ago in which Pachi takes the place of the model Claudia Schiffer playing with her own identity to talk about the muses, dreams, fan phenomenon and pop culture.
COPYING CLAUDIA
For several years, Pachi Santiago has been reproducing the most iconic photographs of German model Claudia Schiffer. Between fascination, admiration and obsession, he mimics the style and attitude of his muse. As he projects himself in the character of this feminine icon, the photographer ultimately expresses his own personality by revealing his own uniqueness, blurring the boundaries between genders. His work fuels reflection on the creation of the self-image through idols manufactured by the media.
