Juan Fielitz, all on an intimate scale and close to the body. Fielitz is an Uruguayan artist and graphic designer based in Montevideo and his research process focuses on the archive, collection and appropriation of images intervened through the collage technique. His search is strongly rooted in the tradition of trimming and photomontage processes developed by the Bauhaus and the Dadaists. Concealment, empty spaces, abstraction, scales and the aging processes of the paper are some of the tools that the artist uses to condense the greatest amount of doubts and ambiguous feelings facing an image.
