Lives and works in Madrid, Spain

Pachi Santiago (1980, Oviedo, Spain) is a Spanish artist with a degree in Fine Arts dedicated to the study of identity and appropriation using self-portrait as a means of expression.

His project Copying Claudia, that has caught the attention of the media, consists in a “work in progress” beginning seven years ago in which Pachi puts himself in the place of the model Claudia Schiffer playing with his own identity to talk about muses, dreams, the fan phenomenon and pop culture.

His work has been recognized and displayed in several editions of PhotoSpain, as well as in several international festivals such as "Images Vevey" in Switzerland. Chosen as one of the references of artistic hybridization in Spain, Santiago has exhibited in places like Mexico, New York, Berlin, Barcelona, Madrid and Switzerland.
