Galería Zielinsky is pleased to present the video No a la guerra by Vera Chaves Barcellos in room 3 of the gallery, from November 10 to December 18, 2021, on the occasion of the LOOP Festival. Developed under the impact of the Iraq War in 2003, the video shows the artist receiving imaginary slaps on her face while interspersing images of the war taken from different mass media. In No a la Guerra, the artist follows up on her investigation, where the manipulation and appropriation of the contents taken from the newspapers serve as material to carry out a series of critical and poetic proposals.
